Education design represents a large portion of the work done by CGLS Architects.  Specializing in higher education, public and private K-12, preschool and master planning, CGLS has won several awards for our work in school design.

Our approach to education design is to focus on the needs of our clients to ensure that teachers, faculty and students, are provided with a functional, stimulating and interactive learning environment. Serving as the central point of coordination, CGLS will pull together a team of consultants and specialists needed to ensure all avenues and details are covered and handled properly. Some of our recent design specialties include: gymnasiums, recreation centers, libraries, auditoriums, performing arts theatres, cafeterias, music practice suites, technology labs, science labs and industrial shops.

Clients include: Oglethorpe University, Cobb County Schools, Gwinnett County Schools, Fulton County Schools, Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, Emory University, Cartersville City Schools, Kennesaw State University, North Metro Christian School, Landmark Christian School and Woodward Academy just to name a few.
